About Us
Szczecin International School is the only school in Poland that was established in connection with the placement of Szczecin Multinational Corps North-East after Polish accession to the ranks of NATO and the only school in the western region which meets the criteria of an international school. Szczecin International School was established in 2002. The school provides education at three stages – Primary, Middle and Diploma.
From 1st September 2009 the school expanded its educational offer, referring to establishing a kindergarten - International Kindergarten of Szczecin.
The kindergarten implements the teaching of the Polish Curriculum which is expanded to the international program: the International Primary Curriculum.
The objectives of the preschool education are implemented in various areas of educational activity. All subjects are taught in English. The program includes the standard classes, gymnastics classes and music classes. The older group of children also has classes in a computer lab. All forms of the preschool education provide good fun and a friendly and safe environment, which is adjusted to the needs of the children.
Education in the International Kindergarten of Szczecin is a very well prepared - both in terms of language and basic knowledge and skills - for children to continue their education in the Szczecin International School Primary School.

ORGANISATION
Personnel
Our staff are people who have qualifications in the field of early learning and preschool education, and also English. The form teacher of each group has an assistant who has equivalent qualifications.
All the employees are people full of passion and commitment, who love to work with children.
We also cooperate with teachers of eurhythmics, physical education and computer science.
Adaptation
A new place, new people and big changes in life are stressful for adults, but much more for children. We all know that at such a time a beloved person must be close to us. That is why we always invite the parents to take part in the classes during the first days of the kindergarten, regardless of the month in which the child joins us.
Meals
In our kindergarten meals are catered. We are very lucky that the catering company is right next to us and we have warm, delicious and home-cooked meals always on time.
Care
Our nursery has only two groups, up to 18 children each. Despite such a small number of children we have 6 staff members who are always ready to help, assist and devote as much attention to each child as needed.
Rest
In our kindergarten sleeping is not required. We all know that each little person has already its own character and preferences. Some have energy for the whole day, while others love to take a nap after dinner. So whether your child goes to sleep or not depends on the child or clear indications from the parents.
Tigers' Room
Our small tigers begin the day with a couple of songs or rhymes as this is their favorite way to learn. After that there is always time for both – new discoveries with a little help of a teacher as well as spontaneous play and simply having fun.
Although we come from different countries like Germany, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Slovakia, we get on very well. Surprisingly, the younger we are the better we communicate.
In our classroom everyone knows how to find something challenging to do – you can read, cut, write or draw, build a tower with lego blocks or play with dolls in separate corners. Children are not afraid of any weather and they spend lots of time outside: going for walks, on the kindergarten playground and in the park.
We work according to Polish curriculum and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Our language of instruction is English.
